Welcome to Mundo Spanish School
The school has grown in size and is now recognized as one of the best Spanish schools in Antigua Guatemala, with a reputation for high academic standards. Mundo Spanish School offers individual Spanish lessons, group courses and online Spanish classes for all levels, from beginner to advanced.
Mundo Spanish School was founded in 2000. Our language school offers two locations: Antigua Guatemala and another location in a small town named San Juan del Obispo. The second location is specifically for participants who would like to have a total immersion into the language and culture in a rural atmosphere but close to Antigua.
The School also offers school credits through Brookhaven College and specialized programs for medical students, social workers, teachers and other professions.
Mundo Spanish School also organizes volunteer programs for students who wish to work with Guatemalan volunteer organizations in different fields such as: Medicine, Day Care, Social Work, Tourism, Animal Care, Construction and Education.

To complement their learning and volunteer experience, students can fully immerse themselves in Guatemalan culture by living with a host family in Antigua or San Juan del Obispo.
The families can introduce students to Guatemalan culture and help them to integrate into their new environment. To make sure that the students and volunteers fully appreciate their stay in Guatemala, Mundo Spanish School offers a range of educational and leisure activities.

Mundo Spanish School is responsible for the management and coordination of its students and those who wish to volunteer working tightly with Guatemalan volunteer organizations in different fields such as: Medical, Day Care, Social Work, Tourism, Animal Care, Construction and Education.
Visiting Guatemala and taking classes at Mundo Spanish School has been one of the BEST experiences of my life! I am so grateful that my son and I were able to be here, not only to learn Spanish but to learn about the culture of people outside of United States. This experience helped my son and I see that the world is bigger than what we know and to value the similarities and the differences that we all have. Marisol and Miriam were the best teachers we would ask for and we will miss them. Thank you so much for having us and providing this experience to people from all over the world. I sincerely hope to return to Antigua in the future, as well as visit other countries with my son. Muchas gracias!!!.
